I had worked for a few months on some interactive touchscreen designs (some had been used at Trafford Centre, Manchester, UK). I designed both the interface (which was where I started learning about HTML – no CSS or xHTML at the time). I also designed the kiosks and drew the 3D drawings as shown. A lot of the kiosks had been made out of MDF (Medium Density Fibre) for a solid structure, on some of them, I had hand-painted marble effects and also used a wood-effect roller to create.. guest what?… real wood ‘look’ showing the grain.
